Time Is Really Short. . .

Well, another self imposed deadline has coming and I am nowhere near getting anything done this month that I had planned. My weekends have disappeared in a storm of chores (The Battle Of The Weeds has been getting quite heated) and my real job has taken up more than it's fair share of attention. I still hope to get some writing done this weekend, however.

As always, take care

Progress On 'Summer' And Other Things

It was a burner of a day here, a perfect time to get some writing done. Of course, I first had to slaughter some weeds and replace a leaky faucet hose on the sink, but I still managed to get 2 1/2 pages written for 'The Summer Project' chapter 24. I am still debating on how I want to end the first 'book' and begin the second. Part of me is leaning towards my typical cliffhanger ending that I am sure, piss more than a few people off. Part of me wants to wrap the first 'book' up so it is a completed storyline but with a lead in into the next 'book'. The later will probably turn out to be two chapters rather than the final one. The 'One Chapter Solution' would definitely make sure readers jump to the next series of writings involving Jeffery & Co. . Regardless, progress is being made towards completion of whatever it turns out being.

I have started to glance at my notes and outlines for 'On French Soil' so I can start where I left off. It is a complicated storyline and I hope start writing something for it within the next two weeks. I am also re-reading Shakespeare's 'Henry The V' so I can get the rhythm of the diction back into place.

For those of you that are fans, please feel free to follow me on Twitter or right here on Blogspot. As always, I also welcome e-mails.

Take Care and Play Safe,

'On French Soil' Looks Like The Winner

The poll is closed and I want to first thank everyone that participated. It looks like I will be working on 'On French Soil' as well as finishing up 'Summer Project'. 'On French Soil' is this authors favorite storyline and I have put off adding to it for way too long of a time.

I was somewhat surprised that 'Sacrifice' did not get a single vote, especially since the last poll showed several of you wanting to see something in the 'fantasy' genre with bondage involved. If you haven't read it, you can find it on Gromet's website.

I hope to get some writing done this weekend. It promises to be a hot one here so the appeal of sitting in front of the computer in the cool of the morning is very great.

For those 'Summer Project' fans, I have been working on the next chapter(s) and I hope to have something done by the end of this month.

As always, take care

'Not Your Garden Variety' Posted

As of this morning, 'Not Your Garden Variety' is currently available to read on Gromet's Plaza. This weekend proved to be not as productive as I would have liked and work on finishing another story was slow. Hopefully I can find some time this week to get some more writing in. Make sure you vote in the poll to let me know what stories you would like to see worked on (besides 'Summer Project').

Take care

The New Poll

If you haven't seen the new poll on the left, please take time to fill it out. You may have noticed that 'Summer Project' is not on the poll and that is because I am planning to finish it this month (famous last words). However, there are other stories that need to be worked on as well and this is a way I can prioritize. So please, take time out from your busy web browsing to vote.

As always, take care

'Garden' Finished

'Not Your Garden Variety' has been completed and sent off to Gromet's Plaza for posting. He should have it posted soon on his website and as soon as he does, I will let all you readers know. Now, onto other things. . .

Taking A Little Time Off

Normally, I would be getting ready to go into the furnace I call work. However, I am taking today off as a mental health day. I had fully intended to sleep in, but my internal clock told me it was time to get up so here I am. I checked Twitter and my mail and after waking up a bit more, I think I will take advantage of the quiet morning to write.

For the last chapter of 'Summer Project', I keep re-writing it in my head. I know it must seem strange, but I want the plot line to make sense. For me, this is the best way of doing it. I want to make sure that the 'book' will stand on it's own and what happens feels realistic.

Well, time to take a shower and turn on the coffee and see about getting some serious writing done.

Take care,

T.S.
