Creation Challenge

It has been a short time since I last talked about comments and since then, very few of you have actually responded. I can tell from the counter many of you have visited the blog and have read my views and stories and news about up coming chapters. I am currently working on chapter 19 of 'Summer Project', a story of a Vampire, a bondage/sailing tale and the sequel to 'Maid Service Requested'. All of these I have worked on in the last week. So here's the deal. I will be stopping work on all of these plus others until I get at least 20 comments from new people. I know it sounds like an NPR donation drive but part of why I created this blog is to have a little interaction from it's readers. So take the consensual vs. non-consensual survey ( September 2008), post your thoughts on how ludicrous this post really is or tell me where you would like to see your favorite story to go. I hope to hear from you soon so I can get started again on some stories.

T.S.

I just love "summer project" and is eagerly waiting for the next chapter(s).
Perfect how Stephanie is forced, yet can't help enjoying it.

I've been following 'summer project' but only just found your blog (and am trying to hunt down part 18.

I enjoy your writing and look forward to more. But write what the muse demands.

While I am a little unimpressed by demands such as 'no chapters until X reviews/comments', feedback is the coin of the realm and reads need a nudge every now and then. I can appreciate how desperate you must get to get at least some feedback... but sometime all you will get is 'good work' and do you really want to open yourself up to scathing criticism?

Part 18 can be found on Stories Online and soon Gromet and Gagged Utopia should have the chapter up as well.

I don't mind criticism as long as it is constructive in nature. For instance, after read several comments on 'Summer Project' getting to be too long, I took a good hard look at what I wanted to do and where the story needed to go and decided to chop it up in book-sized chunks. If it wasn't for those comments, the direction of the tale would be going in a very long and different one.

Blogs are a terrible format for interaction. As you have said many times they are soapboxes for making statements. And most statements on blogs including yours just don't inspire comment and certainly not interaction. Unless, comments like "okay", "cool" or "hmmn" are what you are looking for.

Your con-noncon "survey" generated 12 responses and honestly that is pretty good. Summer Project has 23 comments over at gaggedutpoia and while that may not seem like much against 17,000 hits, in my experience that is better then average (on my site I average 1 comment per 1800 hits).

This is my fourth comment on your blog so I don't count for your "challenge".

i greatly enjoy your stories. one ot the things i think sets your writing apart is it's attention to detail and vivid imagery. i have read most of your work and "the summer project" is my favorite, but i am very sad that you have decided to post this challenge. i understand you desire for feedback but it is still upsetting to know that you have issued an ultimatum.

I'd love to see more of "Walk the Line". It's so creative. and keep writing, your work is great.

I think your challenge is ridiculous and somewhat trivial. Your work is wonderful and I applaud your literary skill, but goading readers into leaving comments is somewhat callow. Please keep writing. The fact that your blog has been visited so much attests to the quality and popularity of your work.

the "friend" stories are really good. i'd love to see you expand on those. some points of interest are who is behind their kidnappings and what do they plan to accomplish by having the women trained? i'd love to see another chapter for this story.

the summer project story is my favorite. i can't wait to see what happens after he reveals who he is and their parents come home.

I discovered you back in 1996 in Storiesonline. I fell in love with your stories, back then there was the first chapters of "Summer Project" and "Wrath".
I love the way you write, the way you tell the story, the way you describe the scene.
You stopped writing for a long time, Imagine my happiness when I saw a new chapter of Summer Project.

Please continue your excellent work, and please, regard us with a new chapter of Wrath, because, frankly, I'm dying here to read what happens next with Cindy and Rachel ;)

Write another chapter of Wrath please. I've been following your writing for years and i can't wait to see a new installment.

Summer project is by far your most creative and compelling story, but Wrath is close behind. Please keep writing! I have read many online stories, but yours are some of the best I've ever encountered.

Hey there,

Your stories have given me and my sub some great ideas in the past. You're very descriptive and creative. Can't wait to get some fresh new ideas from a new story.

Well, I'm very glad I stopped by your blog tonight and read your challenge. I'm excited to be the 20th poster. I completely agree with all of the previous comments on the caliber of your writing. It is truly some of the best out there. Your stories spark readers' interests and consist of believable yet fantastic plots that draw readers in and keep them there. "Summer Project", "Wrath", and "A Work of Art" are some of my favorite stories, and I'd love to read some future installments. Good luck and good writing!

Nice to have an easy way to leave messages. have to say that summer project is great because it includes both forced and not forced slaves.
